Welcome to

Block Rosary Crusade Nigeria

Prayer, Penance & Sacrifice

ABOUT

Block Rosary is a Mother’s call to her children. Block Rosary is designed in Heaven and brought to earth by the Mother of God. Block Rosary neighbors PRAY together; Block Rosary Neighbors STAY together. Block Rosary is our Lady’s answer to the Communist block plan. Block Rosary fosters love of neighbor. (“Thou shall love thy neighbor as thy self,” Matt. 19:19). Block Rosary brings Christ in our midst, ( “Where two or three are gathered together, there am I in the midst of them,” Matt.19:20). Block Rosary unites people who love God. Block Rosary’s quiet voice within neighborhood is powerfully apostolic. It is neighborhood astir for God.

A Block Rosary neighborhood is a safe neighborhood. There is no room for Block Rosary and crime on the same street, The Rosary is the Ark of the Covenant, bearing within it, the manna of Christ, the rod of His holy cross and the law of His divine love. The Rosary is the trumpet whose repeated blasts will tumble the towering walls of Communism. Block Rosary brings back many who have wandered from the Faith. Block Rosary is public, prayer. The Catholic Church has always encouraged public prayer during public tragedy and suffering.

WHAT IS THE ROSARY

The Rosary is that lowly heel whereby. Through her faithful little ones, the invincible Virgin crushes the proud serpent’s head. The Rosary is Noah’s ark, offering to all who seek shelter within, salvation from the engulfing deluge of modem materialism. The Rosary is the Dove. Bearing in its beak, the budding olive branch of a better world. The Rosary is Jacob’s ladder leading up to Heaven. Through it, Angels communicate with men… and over it. God leans pronouncing benedictions on the faithful and their posterity.

The Rosary is the burning bush herein, as we converse with Him, God reveals Himself, and sends us on errands of mercy to mankind. The Rosary is a wonder-working rod like that of Moses. Freeing us from the slavery of Satan. and drawing forth life-giving waters from our flint-like hearts… Waters of divine grace. The Rosary is the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night. Leading those who recite it through the desert of this world to our promised heavenly home. The Rosary is the Ark of the Covenant, bearing within it, the manna of Christ, the rod of His holy cross and the law of His divine love. The Rosary is the trumpet whose repeated blasts will tumble the towering walls of communism.

Statement of Our Purpose

Block Rosary Crusade is a Catholic Lay Organization established to promote neighborhood prayer. The Rosary is a devotion that has been in existence since the 13th century when it was given to St. Dominic by the Mother of God. The officers and members of the Block Rosary pledge their fidelity to the Catholic Church and to all her teachings as handed down by the Sacred Magisterium through the centuries.

Block Rosary Crusade promotes its efforts through educational programmes including publication of a newsletter, as well as publication of various tracts and booklets advocating use of the Rosary, and advancing participation in the programme called Block Rosary Crusade which stresses neighbourhood prayer. We place our efforts in the hands of the Blessed Virgin Mary under her title, Queen of the Most Holy Rosary. We offer all we do in the name of Mary, for the greater honor and glory of God. We invite all Catholics to start or join the Block Rosary Crusade.
